Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club VE Testing

Next VE testing session will be on Saturday, February 12, 2025 commencing at 10:00 AM.

The testing session will be held at the Lindale Church of God Family Life Building which is located behind the sanctuary building. The street location is: 585 Park Ave, SE, Lindale, GA.

There will be testing for all classes of licenses.

All applicants are required to have an FCC Registration Number.  Unlicensed applicants can create an account and obtain an FRN by visiting the FCC web-page (https://www.fcc.gov/wireless/universal-licensing-system) and following the instructions. Hams and those holding other FCC licenses (such as commercial or GMRS) can find their FRN on their licenses.

This is a ARRL-VEC Accredited VE Testing Session. The testing fee is $15.00. The Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club accepts cash and checks (to be made out to the club) for the testing session payment.

If you are not currently licensed, you will need to bring photo identification. This can be a Drivers License, Passport or State issued Identification Card along with a second document of identification. Please bring a copy of your identification document to be filed with your application for license.

If you are currently licensed, bring a COPY of your current license and another photo form COPY of identification.

The Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club VE Testing Sessions will be held at other times during the year at this same location. Please check this site frequently for dates.
