CLUB PICNIC - AUGUST 3, 2013 

One of our members, Landon Hendrix – KK4SLJ – has been recognized for his services to a group of people whom suffer from Tourettes Syndrome.  Landon, pictured above in the center of the three young men, attended a Tourettes Syndrome Summer Camp for persons afflicted with severe Tourettes Syndrome.  At this summer camp Landon, who was certified as a Tourette’s Syndrome Intercession specialist, worked closely with these young people to aid and assist them in coping with the unique challenges of this neurological disorder.  The summer camp was the subject of an Australian television report and Landon was one of the many camp attendees featured in this program.
