The Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club is an organization dedicated to the advancement and promotion of amateur radio.  

This year the Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club is 83 years old. The W4VO repeater has been serving Northwest Georgia for over 40 years

Our Club meets once a month - every second Tuesday - meetings are held at the Rome Senior Center, 406 Riverside Parkway, Rome, GA.

This years theme was Family preparedness. Topics covered included CERT training, preparing "Go Bags," Digital Communications, Weather and other subjects. including continuous training and practice for operators was discussed.  There were also a number of displays.
