The Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club is an organization dedicated to the advancement and promotion of amateur radio.  

This year the Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club is 83 years old. The W4VO repeater has been serving Northwest Georgia for over 40 years

Our Club meets once a month - every second Tuesday - meetings are held at the Rome Senior Center, 406 Riverside Parkway, Rome, GA.

Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club’s
Field Day and Club Picnic
Beginning June 27 at 2 p.m. Saturday and ending at 2 p.m. Sunday June 28 (this is a 24 hour event).

The Club picnic will start at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

The location for our Field Day will be at the American Legion Post 5 Farm, 493 Jones Bend Rd. NE. This is located approximately 1.5 miles behind Mount Berry Mall.

David WW4DW and Keith KA5QFI (not shown) at the ARRL Georgia Section Annual Convention in Forsyth , GA on 24 January 2015. This years theme was Family preparedness. Topics covered included CERT training, preparing "Go Bags," Digital Communications, Weather and other subjects. including continuous training and practice for operators was discussed.  There were also a number of displays.
