Welcome to the Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club

The Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club is an organization dedicated to the advancement and promotion of amateur radio.  

This year the Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club is 83 years old. The 149.940 W4VO repeater has been serving Northwest Georgia for over 40 years. Our Club meets once a month - on the second Tuesday of the month - meetings are held at the Rome Senior Center, 406 Riverside Parkway, Rome, GA.

Digital Repeaters - The club's new ICOM D-STAR (145.380) and Yaesu System Fusion (440.625) digital repeaters will arrive this week and be on the air in a test mode soon!

Topics covered included CERT training, preparing "Go Bags," Digital Communications, Weather and other subjects. including continuous training and practice for operators was discussed.  There were also a number of displays.
